Blackberry has long been overlooked by domestic giants like Sina and Tencent. The QQ app for Blackberry was once only available through third-party modifications, and the Sina Weibo client for Blackberry was reportedly developed after Blackberry China took the initiative to contact Sina.

However, anyone who has used the Sina client for Blackberry (left image below) can attest to its poor quality and terrible user experience. Using such a client is less efficient than simply using Blackberry’s built-in browser (right image below).

Originally, I didn’t intend to treat this matter as a problem, but sometimes when pushed to the limit, one has to react.

As a seasoned QQ group administrator managing dozens of various QQ groups, the most frequent task I handle is receiving notifications of people joining or leaving groups from the bottom right corner of my desktop, and then approving or rejecting them one by one.

In terms of campus QQ groups, from my sophomore year to now, there are records showing that I have managed 47 QQ groups for students from the classes of 08, 09, and 10 (currently 38). The journey to becoming an administrator varied—some groups I created myself, some were left over from my time managing the school forum, and others were set up because my fellow students thought highly of me.

Since I started using BlackBerry in 2007, I can be regarded as a relatively experienced BlackBerry user in China.

I have always been a player who prefers to play with emerging electronic products, but since the moment I bought a second-hand 7290 at a low price in 2007 due to the explosion of various cups, all this seems to be quietly changing.

A more appropriate description would be: “Since using the BlackBerry, I don’t play with my mobile phone very much, which naturally improves the work efficiency of other activities.”

Why does time always seem to be in short supply lately?

iTunes has been a frequent visitor on my computer, coming and going. The reason I haven’t firmly decided to use it for managing my music files is simply due to inertia.

Inertia—since the initial setup of my computer, music files have only increased, never decreased. I’ve used various music download software like KuGou, KuWo, QQ Music, Xiami, Suile, and TTPlayer. From a single Music folder to tens of thousands of mp3/wma/aac/ape/midi/lrc/… format songs and lyrics scattered across my computer’s disk.

The winter vacation has finally passed, although the weather remains immersed in a continuous drizzle.

I braved the cold to return home, and along the way, I suddenly added layers from three to seven pieces of clothing, which only increased my fear of the harsh cold.

Thinking back to my youthful days, I once had a heated argument with my parents and, in a fit of anger, ran out into the snow to take a cold shower by the outdoor well. That incident left me bedridden for several days. Later, during my middle school years, driven by a wild and unrestrained personality, I spent days with a group of rowdy friends under a row of faucets, enduring the bone-chilling cold water from head to toe, and finally managed to scrape into university.

This is the last holiday of my student era, and there isn’t much to pack since I’ll need to return right after the New Year. For now, I’ll make some holiday plans.

There’s no internet at home, so I’ll have to rely on my phone for most tasks during this period. Today, I reinstalled UCWEB7.6 on my phone—it’s still the most reliable for quick web browsing, even though I’ve long been a fan of OPERA.

It’s been almost two months since the last update, and finally, the Shanda Bambook team has released a new firmware. Unfortunately, they are still playing the game of internal and public beta testing with staggered updates. It seems I won’t be able to wait for that day; I’m leaving tomorrow, and without internet at home, I won’t be able to update. Looks like I’ll have to stick with the TXT mode.

The power of WordPress lies in its versatility; you can use it to create almost any type of website without feeling too much pressure. The vast majority of internet applications can be achieved on the WordPress platform through various extensions. Its only weaknesses might be execution efficiency and the difficulty of secondary development.

I have struggled for a long time with the issue of notepads, feeling overwhelmed by tools like Evernote, MaiKu, Google Notepad, Google Reader, Foxnotepad, etc. In the end, I decided to just create my own using WordPress.
